Transformers Cyber Missions

TG Studios was approached by Hasbro to produce a thirteen-episode animated series for the Transformers.

• modeling and rigging each robot and vehicle

Working with Hasbro is so choice… If you have the means, I highly recommend picking one up.

This was shot in two nights in Texas. A majority of which was in a side room in a VERY busy restaurant with a freakin’ band playing in the very next room. Needless to say, audio was an issue. If you listen closely, you can almost hear “Sweet Home Alabama”…

I fondly recall about six years ago… the early days of crowdsourced video stock and the thrill and convenience it provided to be able to pickup a great clip of footage for $5 that would’ve taken hours to create. Now – for reasons I can only assume are greed-induced, a decent video clip goes for around $30. And that’s usually for something low-res. Forget about HD. With clips ranging in the hundreds of dollars from even the cheapest sources; you’ll be over budget before you know it. But now, with the advent of everyone and their mother owning a HD video camera of some sort, it’s becoming more and more efficient to just shoot it yourself.
I was working on some projects for a pending event in Las Vegas and I was amazed and the lack of good/affordable Las Vegas stock available. I went on a mission to capture a full bin of Las Vegas stock and put it out there for dirt cheap. Five bucks seemed like a nice round number and a pretty good bargain for 60 HD clips. As I’m typing, I look up to see a blazing fireplace in the living room. Sure… Why not?
